Off the Grid 2017
Improving communications,
data sharing on site,
and situational awareness
Providing new modes of communication and mapping the locations of dozens or hundreds of people, resources and hazards on mobile devices opens new opportunities for improving forestry production logistics, wildland fire response and recreation in remote environments. This workshop brings together researchers, technology providers and managers to present, discuss, and experience the state-of-the-art in science, technology and applications for communications, location sharing and mobile data solutions for natural resources.
